BonJour from France. I am still here in Paris and have been very busy with the music scene (Thank God). The Gospel group Gospel 'N Soul which I perform with is really ramping up. We are making the round's at all the FNAC's in and around Paris with three more coming up in May. Check the "Gig Page" for dates. FNAC is like the Tower Records stores in California. Also, dates are being planned for a tour to Africa in September.
I have been working with drummer Chris Dailey's band,"Musicians in Exile" which is a very strong jazz fusion group playing all original compositions by Chris. This group has a full lineup with horn section and Chris's double bass M-16 action. This group is making lot's of wave's here and we all are expecting great things in the near future. Check the "Gig Page" and don't miss the upcoming show in June.

I am still in the Metro with my Duty Free gift's of music for the many travelers passing by. I will be featured in an upcoming Sunday Times newspaper. The reporter and film crew came to the Metro and also followed me from my house through my date in the Metro. It is a great feature. I have posted the at the top of the My Thing page. "Metro Story"..

And lastly but not least, my new CD has been recorded and will be ready for sale in a week or two. The recording is solo songs of my singing and playing as I do in the Metro. Well, until next time. Farris-in-Paris.
